Healthy Heroes Adventure Club (Ages 1.5 to 4)

Join Miss Leslie, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator, for a Children's Movement class. This classs introduces children to the exciting world of food and movement. Children will explore how nutrition fuels their body, discover fun ways to be active beyond traditional sports and learn how foods are powerful and fun for playing! This session will feature engaging topics through books, pictures, handouts, movement and hands on activities (pretend food play,craft/sensory exploration). The class will end with a parent/caregiver take home handout of tips. This class will focus on Rainbow Ranger Ruby: Children will practice movement connected to colors of the rainbow, jumping in colored hoops matching colored scarves and bean bags, and talking about fruits and vegetables in colors of the rainbow, They will discuss trying new foods in various colors, how foods come in many different colors followed by a craft. *Please only register each child attending!
