  Dr. Ellen Kaplan is a hero! Twenty-six years ago, she saved my daughter, who was born at just 26 weeks at Hackensack University Hospital. Today, that incredible girl is getting married! We are forever grateful to Dr. Kaplan for caring for Nicole for 21 years--because of her, Nicole is here today, standing before us! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything, Dr. Kaplan!

  The first time we saw Dr. Kaplan, she was rude, dismissive, and impatient towards both my son and me. Initially, I assumed she was having an off day and chose to give her grace. However, during our recent visit, her behavior was even more condescending and rushed. She repeatedly interrupted me, showing little interest in allowing me to finish my thoughts. Instead, she seemed overly focused on questioning my religious and personal decisions regarding my son.<br>As I attempted to address these concerns with other staff members, Dr. Kaplan accused me of being non-compliant, a term that I found triggering especially given her own interruptions and lack of space for my responses. This experience exposed an abuse of power by someone in a position of authority.<br>My son, who is four years old and in daycare get frequent winter colds (Like a lot of his classmates) which Dr. Kaplan only wants to attribute solely to his asthma. She even went as far as insinuating blame on me for not remembering

  Dr. Kaplan was very rude to my husband when he bought our daughter to her appointment. She was worried about things that we are not concerned right now about how when she may have children that she will transfer cystic fibrosis to her children and genetic consulting. She is 7 years old. We just want to find out why she keeps getting the cough. Also we needed clearance for her to have anodes removed but her dr chee never were in agreement so we went to another ent that said to remove them and she needed it. We had clearance from that doc and her reg pediatrician. She is very nasty even the one lady after her apologized for her nastiness and explanation for it.

  I thought Dr. Kaplan was okay. But my biggest issue with this practice is the reception. As thre previous comment stated, there is one person in particular in the office who is very rude and difficult to deal with. I have to call several times to get simple things done: medical records faxed, test results read to me (since the app is not well designed and I often can't access my results). I usually have to call multiple times until a nurse calls me back. There are other people in reception whom i<br>find quite pleasant, but unfortunately one person has put a sour taste in my mouth.

  Experience with Dr Regina Kaplan has been pleasant.<br><br>However the Receptionist, BEATRICE, has been beyond rude, poor attitude, and insensitive to patients. Every single visit during pregnancy she was not client friendly. While in the waiting area, several other patients complained of how rude she was handling their check-in.<br><br>No signs posted anywhere in the office, but she cancelled my appointment because baby was not allowed in the waiting room and I was alone with the baby. This should have been stated when appointment was made! This was my 1st post'partum appt which I really needed to see a doctor due to complications. BEATRICE rescheduled me for another week.
