  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, RUDE DOC/STAFF, ZERO PAIN RELIEF: Jay Panchal is flippant & obnoxious with a temper. I immediately recognize his attitude from the poor reviews below. He's smug and barely takes any time with his patients. You'll wait weeks for answers, follow ups and a resolution. His staff is no better. Many of them carry an attitude like you're wasting their time when requesting simple information. The office follow up after an appointment is laughable at best. They tell you to call the office with a progress update, then your call is passed around and sent into a black hole of the Englewood Health phone system. You'll need to keep calling them back and leaving messages just to find out what is going on or for next steps. You cannot connect directly with his office and constantly have to chase his team for answers.<br><br>The office in Englewood Cliffs is an assembly line.   I'm not usually the one to leave bad reviews, but in this case I feel like I would be doing disservice to future patients.<br>Like many other patients I was in and out in 5 minutes without options. Prescribed anti inflammatory and PT for six weeks, wouldn't even try for MRI. Called 2 days later on Friday morning to ask for pain medication and was told that they would send him a message, did not hear back. Called back on Monday again to ask and the receptionist was beyond rude, it was like I was interrupting her, after going back and forth for 5 min she said she will send him a message. I received a call back after a few hours saying that the doctor doesn't prescribe pain medication and that they could refer me to a pain management place. What am I missing here, this guy is a clown.<br>Went to another doctor 2 days later and had a great experience, pain meds and MRI 4 days later. You be your own judge but having your family friends and community give you good reviews doesn't make you a

  I agree with the previous comments that these good reviews seem to not be credible. First time visit and the doctor dismissed me in less than 5 minutes. Not even kidding, I came at 3pm and left by 3:09pm. I did not receive any physical examination or treatment. After failing physical therapy 3 separate times and multiple medications and was sent to pain management to seek help, all this doctor did was tell me to find exercises and refuse to treat me any further than that. Save your time and seek a different doctor who is willing to listen and care for you.

  In addition to helping me manage and reduce my back pain, Dr. Panchal really listens to his patients. I was in excruciating pain when I first saw him 3 years ago, and he took me and my pain seriously. I also appreciate his "do no harm" non-invasive approach to pain management. I highly recommend him.
