Appointment Canceled After Booking<br><br>I booked a new-patient appointment with Dr. Joseph Fruchter through Hackensack Meridian Health's website. The website clearly showed that he was "Accepting new patients," which is why I booked the appointment.<br><br>Today, the office called me and canceled the appointment, telling me that Dr. Fruchter is actually not accepting new patients.<br><br>I understand that availability can change, but the website should be updated so families don't waste their time booking appointments that will simply be canceled later. I spent time arranging the appointment and making plans for my child, only to find out afterward that the information on the website was apparently incorrect.<br><br>I hope HMH updates the website and makes the new-patient status accurate so other parents don't have the same experience.
