As a mother, you want nothing more than to put your children in good hands and trust that their care will be handled with compassion and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience with Modern Dental was the opposite. After more than six months, I am still fixing the damage this dentist caused my child. We had to seek treatment elsewhere and pay out of pocket to correct the mistakes. The new dentist was even shocked at the poor quality of the original work and extended us a discount out of sympathy.<br><br>What was most disappointing was that when I called Modern Dental to inform them of the situation, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the harm caused. I simply requested my child's records and moved on. I hate to leave one-star reviews, but this is one I feel is necessary to help other parents. Mistakes can happen, but how a practice responds and takes accountability matters just as much and in this case, that was completely lacking. Please do not respond to this review, you

I specifically asked to have only the back of my teeth cleaned, but instead she worked on the front and left large gaps between my bottom front teeth. It looks like she poked into them, and now I have noticeable spaces that weren't there before. I regret coming here for this cleaning. The dentist is disrespectful, staff is okay.

Just awful. If you're not Asian I wouldn't recommend. If you read the bad reviews you'll notice they are all from non-asians. Hmmm.<br>Her english and bed-side manners are horrible. Staff is okay. Dr. Shin gets three thumbs down. And their response to the negative reviews says everything. Do yourself and your teeth a favor and do not go there. Unprofessional.
