  The doctor is professional, although a bit reserved. During the visit, he spent quite a bit of time drawing on paper to explain things, which felt a bit outdated and could have been more clearly demonstrated using an organ model.<br>The front desk and customer service are extremely disappointing. I called twice ahead of my visit to confirm whether they accepted my insurance, and both times I was told they absolutely did. However, after waiting nearly two months for the appointment, I was informed that my insurance was not accepted after all.<br>During those calls, they asked for my name, policy number, and all relevant details, so I don't understand how this mistake could have happened. I had also checked with Aetna beforehand, and it showed the provider was in-network. Unfortunately, I couldn't switch to another doctor because I was unsure if my son needed urgent care, and I had an upcoming long trip planned. I didn't have the luxury of waiting any longer.<br>As a result, I ended up p

  Extremely disappointed in this doctors bedside manner. He was cold and uncaring, walked into the room without acknowledging us or saying hello. My 2 year old who is very friendly waved and said hello, there was no response from Dr. Koo. He sat for several minutes on the computer reviewing our file and addressed us in a curt and cold manner. Although my son is urinating blood, he was unconcerned and told us it's not as concerning as it is in adults. Dr. Koo requested a CD with imaging from previous testing, I immediately got the CD and brought it back to the office within the hour. I waited 4 days and called twice before receiving a phone call at 5pm on a Friday saying there was some type of mix up and I should've followed up more to bring it to their attention. I was told my son needed further imaging but I would not be able to get a script until Monday from Dr. koo's assistant. I left a message with the assistant on Friday to ensure I would be followed up with ASAP. My son continued t

  Dr. Koo and his team are fantastic. My child has had 2 very successful surgeries under his care. We were very nervous first-time parents, but we couldn't be happier with our outcomes. Highly recommend to anyone with pediatric urological concerns.

  We starting seeing Dr Koo when our son was in the NICU during a very scary time. Dr Koo is incredibly responsive. He takes the time to explain everything, answer questions, and work with you on the best next steps for your family. We trust his approach and are thankful for his care of our son.

  5 Excellent care from Dr. Koo! His expertise, compassion, and kindness put our whole family at ease during a stressful time.<br><br>Dr. Koo took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and address our concerns and was very thorough. The entire staff was professional and friendly.<br><br>We couldn't ask for a better doctor to care for our son. Highly recommend Dr. Koo to anyone needing surgical care.
