Dr Racela (or Dr "Rikki" as patients like to call him) was born and raised in central NJ and graduated from Princeton University in 2003, majoring in Molecular Biology with Neuroscience minor. He stayed in central NJ to complete medical school training at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2007 and a year of internal medicine at nearby St. Peter's Hospital. He trained in Neurology at NYU School of Medicine, where he was pleased to serve as chief resident, and then completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology. He happily has returned to NJ to join Bergen Neurology Consultants here in Englewood. He is board certified in neurology and electrodiagnostic medicine.

Dr. Racela is great. He is professional kind, caring, and extremely thorough. He is the best Dr. in his field. I highly recommend him.

No communication. After a prescribed MRI of the brain I had to read the results on MyChart. Never received a phone call even when the results of the MRI had very concerning words for any patient - "mini strokes". Finally received a message through MyChart telling me to take a baby aspirin daily. A complete disappointment.
