  I received a surprise bill for my visit after switching to a new insurance company. The bill arrived just four days before it was due, leaving me with no choice but to stop by the office immediately to avoid a 2% overdue charge. When I asked the dentist why I was being charged, he simply said my insurance didn't cover the full amount. While I understand that insurance coverage varies, I expected a clear explanation of which part wasn't covered--especially since my plan includes 100% coverage for cleanings. Unfortunately, the doctor seemed unwilling to break down the charges and appeared annoyed when I asked for clarification. If you prefer transparency and clear communication regarding your billing, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

  You came to our office asking for an explanation as to why you had a copayment from your recent visit. We asked you if you had received an EOB from your insurance. You said that you had not. We showed you what we had received showing what services were preformed and what your copayment was. Ordinarily most insurance cover prophylaxis at 100% . Apparently your plan does not. We showed you the EOB again and it seemed as if all you cared about was that you had a copayment. We appreciate the fact th

  Told me "it's time to replace your fillings." I didnt do it and subsequent dentists told me that all my fillings are totally fine and never need to be replaced. BEWARE of this dentist.

  We are not in the habit of replacing restorations without reason. If you were advised that some restorations had to be replaced due to excessive wear or new decay being present, that is reason enough to warrant replacement. That is also why we take x-rays. Here's hoping that you receive treatment that you so obviously and desperately need.

  Stay away from this place and do yourself a favor, and read reviews if you don't want to face fraudulent activities . When my insurance company called them to clatify on the amount they asked me to pay, and because there was an issue with that . guess what? The front desk lady refused to give them her name. She said her name starts with J.They told me ,they're never seen it before. I guess she has a reason for hiding her name . I don't think anyone deserves that kind of experience . Stay away and be safe.<br><br>PS. Wow, I think it's a pattern because after bad and trustworthy rewie ,the good one is posted ( my initial rewie was posted about a month ago) to keep his rating up to 3. He doesn't deserve a 0 rating because he<br><br>really doesn't care about your teeth and gums health. All he cares about is how much money he can put in his pocket (insurance allowance). He will perform unnecessary dental work, so be aware and think twice before you choose your dentist . He is the worst dent

  I usually read reviews before visiting the Doctors. I read the reviews after my visit and I was pleased. No deductible was taken until the dental work was initiated. The reviews were not regarding Dr. Frankel work or service they are about insurance and money related issues. We choose the insurances, the insurance company makes the rules and the Doctor(s) follow protocol.<br>The Staff is knowledgeable and Friendly. My Friend who is very particular has been Dr. Frankel patient for years recommended him and knowing her and my experience in my two visits were just fine. I paid my deductible on the second visit with NO COMPLAINTS. Beware of what is written and posted for wording is important. Dr. Frankel and Staff Thank You...
