  Beautiful homes, fantadtic nature, relaxing atmosphere. However, the Coop's Board is rotten - Board members get preferential treatment and feel high on power. The Management company the Board hired treats residents who are not Board members unfairly. Getting an approval to remodel your house or build a new one is impossible unless you are a Board member or friends, family with one or dating one. In addition it is very costly as you have to pay for Coop's architect and lawyer for any approval you need. Rates they are allowed to charge per hour are well above market for those professions as Board members approved the high rates they can charge residents.<br><br>Move in and enjoy if you are buying a newly built home in the Colony and won't need any remodelling or construction approvals. However, it is a nightmare to be an owner of an older home here with hopes of remodelling.
