  Horrible establishment and customer service. I called to get a curly cut and when I arrived the day of the appointment I was surprised to find out that I wasn't in the "system" because they said they sent me a text message to finish booking my appt and put my credit card info. I've explained to the hairdresser, Oscar, that I've never received the text message and he was very rude telling me he only had 30 mins and giving me trouble for a text msg I never even received but he claims they did send. I've gotten curly cuts before and I know they don't take "just 30 mins" as he claimed. Then he brings his shears and all his styling instruments and I see they haven't even been cleaned from a prior customer. Hairs all over the shears. This is unacceptable and disgusting to say the least! When I've asked him if he was going to use those scissors on me, he gets offended at me. This was my first time booking with this place and the way I was treated by Oscar is not how a business should treat an

  Emilia did a fabulous job on my cut and color of my very curly hair last month. I received sooo many compliments! Emilia is a curly Q Genius and color too - a rare combo!<br>A big thank you!

  I've gotten a curly cut and dyed my hair here so far and both have turned out great! The staff is nice and Oscar has lots of knowledge when it comes to hair. I will continue utilizing their services and am glad to have them in the community

  I debated writing this review because Emilia was wonderful. I went to this salon because doing both my hair and my son's hair has been more difficult since an accident, and I was looking for help with our curls. Unfortunately, our experience with Oscar was not so great. He was immediately bothered with my sons hair because it was knotted. He has 3c/4a hair in a curly Afro hairstyle that almost covers his forehead. He said that he's had to cut hair that was too matted, but my son's hair was detangled without being cut. The communication about his textured hair was just insensitive and judgmental. That was confirmed when I went to tip him. He looked at the money, then looked at me up and down and said "what is that?" I said it was the tip and he said "no. I need to ring you up" and walked away (The tip still ended up being the 20%).<br>His attitude was rude and completely unnecessary. I recommend trying out other places who have more experience with textured hair and can at least act mor

  Thank you for the feed back. We take great consideration. However, we strive to be as honest as possible with our clients when it is for the better care of their scalp and hair. ( wether it is a wave or a tight coil) Your son, at not fault of his own needed over an hour of just detangling which was beautifully detangled with no breakage. <br>He was also provided with multiple shampoos to clear his scalp, to which you and him were given tips ( hair trim, better product distribution when styling,

  Fav salon ever. So curly-friendly (3B for reference). My hair is still healthy after changing the color numerous times. My curls stay cute all week after it's styled!

  Oscar is an amazing hairstylist. He spends time to get know your hair concerns and is super knowledgeable about treatments. Only after one time of seeing him my curls have gotten so much healthier. Very happy I found this salon!
