  I've moved three times in the last four years between NYC and New Jersey, so I've worked with my fair share of moving companies.   DO NOT trust Jake Moving to complete your move without risking damage to your furniture.<br><br>We hired Jake Moving for a full service white glove move that included full packing service and storage. Jake Moving completed the first part of our move from our prior home to our storage units, significantly earlier than expected. It appears Jake Moving loaded our furniture into their truck without packing with moving blankets thereby saving packing time. We found that Jake Moving failed to properly pack our furniture with blankets and left several pieces completely bare and other wooden furniture simply wrapped in plastic without furniture blankets. We reserved two large storage units to store our furniture to avoid excessive stacking, however, we found that all of our furniture was stuffed into one storage unit with bare wooden furniture stacked on top of each other. We have not had an opportunity to remove our furniture and have it inspected and properly packed, but find it would be nea

  I honestly would not have been able to move without Jake Moving, especially while my child had a high fever. We recently moved from a Manhattan apartment to New Jersey, and Jake made the entire process seamless.<br><br>Jake visited our home one day before the move with his team to organize and pack everything. On moving day, everything went smoothly from start to finish. His work ethic and professionalism are truly different from other moving companies. He does not treat moving as "just a job" or only for money. He genuinely cares about your move, your belongings, and your family.<br><br>Jake and his team handled our things with great care, as if they were helping their own family. They were kind, helpful, fast, and very professional.
