  I had a great experience working with Marc and his staff. They were extremely understanding and took the time to explain everything in detail so I could fully understand the process. They were very patient with me and always made me feel comfortable asking questions. Going through bankruptcy can be stressful, but Marc and his team made the entire experience much easier.   After I paid attorney Marc Alster a $700 deposit, his attitude completely changed -- he suddenly claimed he couldn't understand my English, even though we communicated perfectly during our first meeting. He raised his voice, interrupted me, and said, "Do you understand English?" which was humiliating and deeply hurtful as an immigrant. I felt taken advantage of because he knew I was in a difficult financial situation and had to leave the country soon. He refused to accept documents by email, demanded hard copies, and even told me not to use his office copier because it might "break." I am disappointed, feel discriminated against, and strongly advise others -- especially immigrants -- to avoid this attorney and protect themselves.

  If I could, I would give 0 stars.<br><br>I have lived in the U.S. for 10 years and have never been humiliated like this before. What attorney Marc Alster did to me was unacceptable and felt discriminatory.<br><br>During our first meeting, he was polite and respectful. His assistant kindly invited me for a free consultation, and I decided to move forward with him.<br>When I had to leave the country soon, I requested a quick follow-up visit to start the bankruptcy process. He agreed and told us to come in again.<br><br>However, during the second meeting, everything changed after I paid the $700 initial deposit. As soon as he received the payment, his attitude completely shifted. Suddenly, he claimed he couldn't understand my English -- even though he had no issue communicating with me the first time.<br><br>He began raising his voice, interrupting me repeatedly, and speaking to me in a very disrespectful way. At one point, he said, "I didn't let you ask a question. It's my turn to talk.

  I found Marc on the internet, didn't know this man but after I scheduled a meeting with him, I felt at ease. His office girls were very polite and always kept me informed. Any questions I had or thoughts that I put past him. He was very patient & kind with me. I'm glad that he took my case and was with me very step of the way with my Bankruptcy.
