Very rude, wouldn't let me speak to the reason why I was looking for a consultation.<br><br>In addition, he made it his priority to tell me about the $5,000 retainer and how the payment process works.<br><br>What a joke.<br><br>Edit: I can't afford your retainer? I was calling you about a rental property my wife and I own.<br><br>What a vindictive bitter individual you are. Your actions demonstrate unprofessionalism. In addition, you lack the capabilities of acknowledging my concerns, let alone being capable of representing me.<br><br>It's lawyers like you that give many others a bad reputation. You couldn't give me two seconds to read a letter to you? Instead, you say "it cost $5,000 to retain me".<br><br>How do we even know if you can help us out?<br><br>What a joke, it's only a matter of time until someone contacts the bar due to more unprofessional behavior related to your services.

He is not complaining that I did not do a great job as his lawyer, or that I charged more than I told him initially. Instead, he is complaining that I was honest and upfront about the fact that litigation is expensive (and he's upset that he doesn't have money to hire a lawyer), and that I would not give him free legal advice over the phone.
