  Wonderful warm school with dedicated teachers and staff. My kids went there with English as second language and they both learned English so fast. The kids made friends and we are still in touch with MaryJo even though my kids are no in their 20ies. A+++

  This daycare is top tier. They truly love your kids like their own. The way they welcomed my son immediately into their school felt like he was joining a little family. These women truly take their jobs so seriously and are so kind I feel so blessed to have found this school. I trust that my son is safe, loved, and well taken care of.

  My kids are thriving. My daughter used to turn her back to people in social situations but I've watched her become less and less anxious. She now happily runs to her teachers and hugs her friends every morning.<br><br>Their teachers are authentic and take care of my kids in a way that feels familiar to them, and give a little extra personal attention when they know my kids are having a hard day.<br><br>I am thankful for Mary Jo and her wonderful staff and would highly recommend First Step in Fort Lee.

  The staff members are amazing! My daughter is happy and well taken care of at First step and it makes me feel at ease while she is under their care.

  My son started at this daycare around he was 1. I loved this daycare and it felt like a family. I recommend this daycare to anyone!!!

  As a first time mom I had trouble with trusting anyone with my son. I enrolled my son when he was 1 years old. He started having trouble with social anxiety. That quickly went away. He started in the infant room where he learned so much. When he was 18 months he went to the tod's for twos class. I love that its a classroom setting and he gets to do activities and so many fun things. Gets them ready for real school but making it so fun. My son was fully potty trained before 2 because of the examples and encouragement he saw in the school. From day one I stepped in there it was so comfortable for us. All the staff treat us like family. The guidance and trust was everything for me. To the point that my son sometimes wants to stay longer in school and at pick up is so excited to show me things. Mornings its a kiss and hug goodbye to me. That right there as a 1st time mother is everything because you know your child is safe while your at work. Thank you guys !!!
